ProActivity, headquartered in Newton, MA with operations in Israel, is a leading provider of Business Process Analysis (BPA) and Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) solutions.  Recognizing the consolidation that was taking place in the Enterprise Integration Software world, ProActivty retained Boston Corporate Finance in early 2006 to assist the company in exploring various strategic alternatives.

In a relatively short time period, Boston Corporate Finance approach a targeted group of strategic acquirers using an extremely focused, expertise-based approach to each potential acquirer.  Ultimately EMC, with its Documentum business line, emerged as the best fit with ProActivity’s BPA and BAM solutions.  ProActivity’s solutions filled some key voids in EMC Documentum’s product suite and provided it with the ability to monitor, analyze and optimize business processes.
