Boston Corporate Finance Advises Microsol in its Sale to Crompton Greaves

BOSTON, MA and DUBLIN, IRELAND – Boston Corporate Finance, Inc. (BCF) and its Irish M&A International Inc. partner firm, IBI Corporate Finance (IBI), have successfully advised Microsol Holdings Ltd. (Microsol) in its sale to Crompton Greaves Ltd. (Crompton).

Microsol will be integrated into the CG Pauwels T&D Group, a $1 billion Belgian division of Crompton Greaves. The addition of Microsol’s technology and global customer base will help Crompton Greaves expand its international footprint and capabilities in the power solutions sector.”

Microsol develops hardware and software to meet the field automation needs of power utility companies across the globe. Their strong customer relationships span five continents and include state-owned and privately-owned utility companies. In addition to their substation and distribution automation platforms, Microsol offers user interface tools that help customers monitor, diagnose and configure their systems.

Microsol’s chief executive officer, Martin Kelly, stated, “The management and staff look forward with considerable confidence to expanding our business much further within the CG Pauwels T&D Group.”
