February 3, 2004 - Boston Corporate Finance Raises $8.8 Million for Marathon Technologies

WESTWOOD, MA - Boston Corporate Finance, Inc. ("BCF") is pleased to announce that it has served as financial advisor to Marathon Technologies Corporation and assisted the company in raising $8.8 million in venture financing. Marathon, the only developer and supplier of fault and disaster tolerant solutions for industry-standard Microsoft® Windows® platforms, will use this funding for the launch of its patented Endurance® Virtual FTserverTM software. The funding round was led by Atlas Venture and Longworth Venture Partners. Along with Presidio Venture Partners, BCF participated in this financing.

The funding allows for 100% payment to creditors and provides Marathon with a new capital structure and financial backing from committed institutional investors.
